The players of Madhya Pradesh Shooting Academy will showcase thier talent at international platform.
In the ISSF World Cup to be held in Munich, Germany the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy's players Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar, Sunidhi Chauhan and Chinki Yadav will represent the Indian team. The championship will be played from May 24 till May 31.
It is to be noted that in the World Cup, Aishwarya Pratap and Sunidhi Chauhan will compete in the 50m Rifle three-position event and Chinki Yadav will perform talent at the 25 meter Shot Pistol event.
On the selection of the Academy players in the World Cup, Director Sports and Youth Welfare S.L. Thoussen congratulated the selected three players while expressing happiness. Sports Director Dr. Thoussen has greeted the players while encouraging them to perform in the World Cup.
It is noteworthy that Shooting Academy's player Aishwarya Pratap Singh has brought a gold and a bronze medal to the country in international competitions. While 9 national gold medals and two silver and bronze medals have been earned in national championships. Similarly, Sunidhi Chauhan has earned bronze medal in the National Shooting Championships held in Kerala last year. Academy player Chinki Yadav has given three gold, two silver and four bronze medals to the country in international competitions.
She has made Madhya Pradesh proud by earning more than 13 medals in national tournaments.
It is worth mentioning that Suma Saroor, the Chief Instructor of the shooting academy is giving training to Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar and Sunidhi Chauhan. Besides, Sunita Lakhan and Vaibhav Sharma and Chief Instructor are training Chinki Yadav. Jaspal Rana and Trainer Jaywardhan Singh Chauhan are also training the shooting academy players.
