Madhya Pradesh Finance and Excise Minister Jayanti Malaiya here today said that Madhya Pradesh is progressing fast in both agriculture and industrial sectors and in the coming time, he was hopeful that the state will attract capital investment in huge number.
While inaugurating Vijayshree Packaging Industries at Industrial Corridor here on Friday, the minister said the state of Madhya Pradesh has very conducive geographical location for setting up industries where an uninterrupted power is being supplied to industries at a very reasonable rate.
The state also has better infrastructure like better roads, plenty of power and water. He said any industrialist wanting to set up industries in any particular region would not only promptly be provided with land but would also be provided with necessary infrastructure, prerequisite for setting up industries.
He lauded Vijayshree Packaging Industries for maintaining cleanliness. Vijayshree Packaging Industries had signed up MoU with the state government in the previous global investors summit and subsequently set up its unit here within a span of two years.
Speaking on the occasion, Madhya Pradesh Industries Minister Rajendra Shukla said the State Chief Minister has a dream of making an all-round development of Madhya Pradesh.
He said initiative has been taken by the state government to provide capital assistance for setting up industries to those who are imbued with necessary skills.
Efforts are being made to bring about industrial and tourism revolutions in the state along with green revolution, the minister said adding that in the current year's global investors summit, areas like food processing, pharmaceuticals, automobiles being given maximum thrust for attracting investment.
He said with the coming up of big industries, ancillary units are also set up in those areas and it helps in generating more employment opportunities.
Talking about the Make In India program of the Prime Minister, the minister said the state government is quite serious and liberal in making Make In India dream of the Prime Minister a great success in Madhya Pradesh.
