Madhya Pradesh police started celebrating birth centenary of late KF Rustomji. This would continue in the year 2016-17 and several programmes aimed to make the citizens familiar with ideas of Rustomji are being held.
IG SAF (Training) Manish Shankar said that a committee in every range headed by IG of the range has been formed and in the committee personnel and officers posted and retired in the area have been included. The police personnel, police officials and their family members would participate in the programmes. The committee would organize office work related competition based on professional skills and intelligence, seminar, workshops, exhibitions, publication camp, rallies, sports, cultural and welfare activities.
Essay writing, lecture and debates on police related issues would be held. Online essay competitions for schools and colleges would be held on ‘ New experiments for creating better image of Police’, ‘ Role of police in development’, ‘ Participation of citizens in controlling terrorism’, ‘ Woman safety’ and other topics. Painting competitions on works of Rustomji would also be held.
Workshop on subjects related to police like Beat system, execution of warrant, crime investigation and police personnel with better performance would be felicitated. lecture series ‘Rustamji’ would be held.
Road safety week which is organized in the month of January would be organized with the celebration of birth centenary. Online awareness programmes on women and children safety would be held.
