Behaviour of Madhya Pradesh police should be like doctor towards the weaker sections of the society, said Home Minister Babulal Gaur at the inauguration of the two-day seminar on ‘Sensitisation of society towards Weaker Section’ here at Police Training and Research Institute.
A seminar by Adim Jati Kalyan branch of the State police headquarters was organised. Home Minister Gaur said that society was formed on character based colour system but the system was propagated in a wrong manner.
He emphasised that the police should work as true protector and work for the safety and security of the people. He suggested that to achieve this, police personnel and police officials should work providing their services by adopting sacrifice, perseverance and intelligence in their character.
Police should apply the manner and approach in which a doctor handles and gives a patience hearing to the patients for understanding the disease of the patient in the same manner police should try to find the truth in the case so that the innocent should not be punished and should get justice. Awareness of rules, provisions and regulations and at the same time implementing these in the cases increases the sensitisation among the police, he added.
