'MP Minority panel has failed to do its duty'

Published on:

As per the report that the minority panel asking the State Government to act against minority institutions is a mockery against its own house is very disappointing.

Expressing displeasure, the PRO Fr Maria Stephen said in his statement that the MP Minority commission has failed to do its duty by asking the Government to act against the minorities.

Minority Commission is meant for protecting and promoting the welfare of the minority institutions. All the problems can be solved through mutual consultations and discussions.

If it goes against its own family members then its credibility is at stake.

Archbishop leo Cornelio said in his statement that the Article of 29 and 30 of the Constitution of India gives right to the minorities to run and administer educational institutions in spite of less percentage of minority students.

It is attempt to halt the standard of the education in India as Christian schools are known for discipline and values to promote developed India all over.

The minority’s population in India holds very less percentage and thus it is understandable to have less minority students in the educational institutions.

It’s already known that RTE is exempted in the unaided minority institutions.
