'MP is fast developing State'

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday retrieved his claim that his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government has pulled out the State from the shackles of BIMARU States, but claimed that it was on the path of fast developing State.

Chouhan expressed these views while addressing public meetings at Gadasarai in Dindori and at Mandla during his ongoing Jan Ashirwad Yatra.

Chouhan said, “Villages and farmers have attained prosperity in the State under BJP rule, because the irrigation capacity has been increased, power capacity of the State has been increased and provision of interest free loan has been made for the farmers.”

Chouhan further claimed that the State first achieved 19 per cent development in the agriculture sector and then it attained 13 per cent extra additional development in it making it the leading State in agriculture development. The Congress at the place of feeling proud over development of State is afraid of BJP and has developed Shivraj Singh Chouhan phobia, he added.

He said that the priority of the BJP was development while the only commitment of the Congress seemed to be removing Shivraj Singh Chouhan.  This commitment of Congress has turned the State Assembly elections into public agitation and the people of the State were getting united in support of the BJP, he added.

He said that the State remained number one in the implementation of Forest Right Act and the work of distribution of the pattas under this act is being continued in the State. “The Government is making all out efforts to provide irrigation facilities to those Tribals who have been provided pattas on forest land. By providing credit card to them their credit worthiness has been enhanced,” he added.

The Chief Minister called on the people to make the Mission 2013 huge success brings BJP to power in Madhya Pradesh. If voted to power for the third consecutive term the BJP would change the face and fortune of the state, he added.
