Madhya Pradesh High Court on Thursday cancelled an appointment made on the basis of a note-sheet of the then Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Digvijay Singh.
Notably, on the basis of a note-sheet of Singh, Arun Tiwari was appointed as sub-engineer in 1990 in the Irrigation department at Rewa. A double bench of the High Court headed by Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court Manikrao Khanvikar has cancelled the appointment.
Besides, the High Court also directed to investigate all the suspected appointments in Madhya Pradesh.
The High Court was hearing a petition filed by Mansukhlal. Deputy Advocate General Samdarshi Tiwari pleaded on behalf of the State Government.
