All tenders of Messrs S & T Infrastructure have been cancelled due to submission of fake TDR as performance guarantee for tenders floated for construction of new soil testing lab. Besides, the company has
also been blacklisted. This order has been given by the MD of the State Agriculture Marketing Board, Arun Pandey.
It is noteworthy that the Agriculture Marketing Board had invited tenders for new soil testing labs at Betul and Balaghat. For it, Messrs S & T Infrastructure submitted fake TDR worth `18,49,62,500 as performance and additional performance guarantee for tenders. An FIR was filed at the MP Nagar police station by the Board when the matter surfaced.
The Board has prohibited Messrs S & T Infrastructure from work in all Mandi societies due to presentation of fake TDR. Besides, a letter has also been written to PWD to cancel registration of the firm and blacklist it. Orders have been given to seize `1.40 lakh deposited by the firm as security deposit.
