Madhya Pradesh would become a pioneer in the country by telecasting live its Independence Day programme on Thursday. Doordarshan Madhya Pradesh is working round the clock for last few days to achieve the feat through it’s yet to be launched satellite channel.
The Independence Day programme of the State would be watched live across the country, residents of the State living in other parts of the country could watch the programmes of their home State wherever they are living. It is for the first time in the history that Independence Day programme of a State would be telecast live in the country. States Independence Day programmes are part of the national telecast that takes place from New Delhi on the occasion.
A senior DD official who is an important part of the telecast team informed that it was a matter of pride for the DD MP team that was part of the rare feat. This was good beginning for the DD MP Satellite channel that has not officially being inaugurated. This is also a matter of pride for the people of state that the programmes of their state would be watched live across the country, he added. The production team of the DD MP engaged in this important work includes the programme head SN Singh, Senior Producer Sajid Rizvi besides Shivendra Verma and Devedndra Verma in the production team and the technical team that includes technical director and assistant engineer SK Singh.
