President of the Madhya Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nandkumar Singh Chouhan here on Tuesday claimed that his son is not related to the case of Minister Sanjay Pathak.
While talking to media persons here, Chouhan said that his son has nothing to do with the so-called controversy related to SME Minister Sanjay Pathak. Pathak was recently named in a case relating to converting crores of black money as white through a private bank. Following this, Katni Superintendent of Police Gaurav Tiwari was on Monday transferred and posted in Chhindwara. Senior officials and Home Minister Bhupendra Singh claimed that the transfer was a routine administrative process and Tiwari has been rewarded with a bigger district.

The case came to fore a few days ago when the police had caught coal merchant Satish and his accountant Sanjay Tiwari. Tiwari's wife had alleged that the black money converted into white belonged to Minister Sanjay Pathak and under his pressure the cash was deposited in the bank. later in the evening Minister Sanjay Pathak arrived for a BJP meeting and told media persons that he has met Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and demanded a probe in the so-called hawala case of Katni. Regarding transfer of the SP from Katni, Pathak said that he has nothing to do with it. It might be a routine administrative transfer, he added.
