Madhya Pradesh has become the first State in the country to conduct online ITI exams. The ITIs’ semester exams-2015 are being conducted through MP Online. The exams are being conducted at 77 exam centres in 49 cities since February 23. As many as 22,689 students are appearing in the exams.
Technical Education and Skill Development Minister Umashankar Gupta said that online exams will eliminate possibilities of question paper leak and delay in exam conducts. Evaluation time will also be saved following online exams. Now, exam results will be declared at the earliest. Gupta lauded efforts of Secretary Technical Education and Director M Sibi Chakravarty for starting online exams.
