A 20-year-old boy died after his motorbike was hit by a speeding mini truck at Sukhi Sewania area on Wednesday.
According to the police the victim Jitendra Pal was on his way to home when a speeding mini bus hit him. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died later during the treatment. After preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 304 (A) of the IPC and have started further investigation. Victim was a resident of Bagh Mughalia and met an accident while on his way to Vidisha. Errant driver escaped the spot and the police have launched a manhunt to nab the miscreant.
Meanwhile a 20-year-old youth died and his friend was severely injured when their motorbike hit a parked truck at Manohar hotel under Ratibad police station area in the wee hours on Wednesday. According to the police Rahul Rathod and his friend Raju Gurjar were on their way to Sehore when they rammed into a parked truck near a road side hotel. The two were rushed to Hamidia hospital where Rahul died during the treatment and Raju is under going treatment.
