Chief Electoral Officer VL Kantha Rao has informed that 25 thousand 611 non-bailable warrants have been issued from October 6 to 31, 2018 after the coded of conduct has come into force in the state to maintain law and order. Along with this, 2,343 illegal firearms have been seized and 2,48,493 firearms have been deposited in the police stations during this period.
Under the Property defacement, total 15,22,812 cases have been registered and action has been taken in 14,71,703 cases. A total of 11,84,234 cases of government property defacement have been registered and action has been taken in 11,52,111 cases. Similarly, 3,38,578 cases of private property defacement have been registered and action has been taken in 3,19,592 cases. Besides, 9,054 cases of misuse of vehicles have been registered.
