Welfare, Dr Santosh Wakode, HOD Physiology, faculty members Dr. Varun Malhotra, Dr. Sunil Chauhan and Dr Vishal Gupta of AIIMS, Bhopal were present in the release of the monograph ‘Clinical Applied Physiology’ on Saturday.
The authors are Dr Varun Malhotra, Department of Physiology, Dr Danish Javed, SMO, AYUSH and Dr Brijesh Kumar, Department of Anatomy. The monograph is written in Hindi and English primarily for first year MBBS Students. It consists of problem-based learning in CNS and Endocrine Physiology.
This monograph hopes to motivate students to learn through Early Clinical exposure (ECE) by case based learning approach in which faculty would facilitate the self-directed learning of students in small groups. It will cater to the needs of Hindi speaking students and NMC guidelines of ECE.
