Special monitoring is done from the control room by ‘live’ videography with the help of ‘CCTV surveillance’ vehicle in the containment areas.
In order to strictly follow the lockdown, 3 CCTV surveillance vehicles in the city are continuously monitoring day and night in the containment areas under north and south Bhopal,
cameras are been moved in CCTV surveillance vehicles and the person found walking outside or sitting outside the houses are instructed that recording is been done and action will be taken against them. After spotting the camera in many areas, people move inside the houses on their own making the job easier for police.By using the Public Announcement (PA) system, people are advised to go inside their houses in the containment area by these vehicles.The operation of the surveillance vehicle is seen live in the control room CCTV surveillance, which also shows people violating the lockdown and on the spot they are advised and those resisting face action which is been done by the police stations on the field making the system functioning in a coordinated manner.
Apart from this, live videography with video cameras is being monitored of these containment areas, in which the containment areas of Jehangirabad and Jinsi are monitored live from CCTV surveillance control room which could help in checking the spread of Coronavirus with strictness.
The results are good as it has helped the police to monitor in a better and efficient way and require less efforts to vigil large areas under containment.
