State Bharatiya Janata Party spokesman and Bhopal MP Alok Sanjar has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s sympathy shown towards the troubled people of the State during the time of natural calamity has done the healing work.
Sanjar in a statement here on Friday said, “The way PM Modi and Rajnath Singh showed sympathy towards the troubled people of State during time of natural calamity has worked as supplement in the disaster management and as healer for the troubled people.”
Sanjar further said the readiness of PM Modi and Singh towards flood victims of the State is laudable. “PM Modi on getting information of floods in Madhya Pradesh suo motu called Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and took information of the losses and ensured him of all help from the centre in rescue and relief works.
Besides immediately making available the help of army for Rewa and Satna areas that were badly hit by the flood, this helped in reducing losses,” Sanjar said.
He said that this probably for the first time that the PM moved forward helping hand towards all the BJP ruled States and non-BJP ruled States and hold discussions with the Chief Ministers of all suffering States and provided adequate help to them and in the process made the spirit of Team India meaningful.
He said that PM’s concern for the flood hit people of State is like applying healing touches to them and for that BJP is thankful to him.
