The security officials at Delhi airport should apologise for their misbehaviour in writing, said the Shankaracharya of Jyotir Math and Dwarka, Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati, while speaking to the media at Jharneshwar temple at Banganga in the city.
The Shankracharya, who arrived in the city, was infuriated over what he termed as misbehavior by the security officials at the Delhi airport and invited the media to raise the issue.
About the Uri terror attack, he advised Prime Minister Narendra Modi to immediately reply to Pakistan's action and the sacrifice of the soldiers should not go in vain and appealed to Modi to take strict action immediately and said that Modi should hold back his foreign visits.
Modi is repeating the then PM Jawaharlal Nehru's mistake who signed Panchsheel agreement with China. Modi, instead, should prepare the country for war with Pakistan as timely preparation for war and preparing the citizens ready for war mentally is really important. He said that a grand Sudarshan temple would be built in Shirdi. Planning has been done and only land for the temple is awaited.
Discussing the issue of Kashmir and Pakistan, he claimed that countrymen hoped that the mistakes made by the Congress in Kashmir and Pakistan issue during their reign would be rectified and proper foreign policy would be adopted but in the current scenario the policy failed to provide a solid framework.
He praised the works of Nehru and said that his contributions in the development of the country after independence were remarkable but the country suffered from Panchsheel agreement due to which India lost the 1962 war with China and Modi is repeating the same mistake. China, Russia and Pakistan are a single unit. The USA is continuously providing help in the form of finance and weapons and India should not rely on it.
The incidents of attack on Indian soldiers like in Uri in Kashmir increase the risk of weakening of their morale and continuous mistakes on diplomatic front has encouraged spread of terrorism.
