Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday said that his Government has decided to provide free education to the students belonging to SC/ST community be it for medical, IIT, IIM or any other higher education course, to empower them.

Chouhan, who was addressing a national convention organised by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) in Mathura, also said that 'ladli laxmi Yojana' was the first yojana which he introduced after becoming the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. He also said that this Yojana was introduced to improve socio-economic status of girls in Madhya Pradesh.

CM was full of praise for Prime Minister Narendra Modi for launching various schemes and even termed his tenure as “God's blessing to the country”.

The occasion was the last day of the two-day national convention of the BJYM held at Vrindavan in Mathura. Calling Modi as a "Man of Ideas", Chouhan said that Modi has the determination to implement ideas. He added that whenever Modi goes to any foreign country even that country becomes "Modimaye".

"Such is his charisma that 'Modi-Modi' is heard from everywhere, even Congress people always say 'Modi-Modi,'" Chouhan said. If the country continues to progress under Modi's leadership then no one will take Congress' name ever, he said.

While praising Modi, Chouhan didn't forget to elaborate in detail the good work done by the Madhya Pradesh Government in the last one decade. Referring to himself as "Mama (maternal uncle)," Chouhan said that he has ensured that no girl's parents will have to take loan for her wedding.

He exhorted the BJYM workers to work hard and ensure the BJP wins the UP Assembly election and also urged national organisation secretary Ramlal and BJYM chief Anurag Thakur to ensure BJYM workers get Assembly tickets in the UP election 2017.
