Chief Minister Kamal Nath on Sunday scathingly attacked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Patna's Jan Aakankhna rally saying that the Modi Government has betrayed the farmers and youth of the country. Nath said that people are asking Modiji what he is upto when farmers remain unpaid and youth remain jobless.
The Chief Minister said that two months ago, the people of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh gave a mandate to the Congress after they were perturbed by the Bharatiya Janata Party's misrule. He said that Madhya Pradesh topped in rape cases, unemployment, farmers’ suicide cases violence against women. When innocent people came to know the reality voted out the 15-year-old BJP rule.
Nath said that the Prime Minister Modi had another lie. He said that Modi must have verified the truth. It was BJP Government under whose patronage farm loan scam cropped in. In the name of farmers, loans were taken. Our government will bring to surface the scandal. Nath said that following instructions of Rahul Gandhi, farmers' loans were waived in two hours after taking over as Chief Minister. He informed that the loans of 30 lakh farmers of the state will be waived off on March 3. And after that loans of rest 15 lakh will be waived.
The Chief Minister said that after the Congress government came to power in Madhya Pradesh, radical decisions in favour of farmers and women and youth. Referring to resolve of Modi Government, Kamal Nath said that before coming to power, Modi had promised Make in India, Skill India, Digital India, Standup India. He asked a large number of youngsters present at the rally about their beneficiaries saying that farmers are committing suicides and the Modi government is sitting idle. Modi Government has deceived the youth and farmers.
The Chief Minister said that the Modi Government talked much about cleaning Ganga. Instead of Ganga, the banks have been cleaned. He said that those with ill intentions cannot clean the Ganga. He said that the future of the country belongs to the youth and urged them to support the truth and support the Congress coalition for secured future.
