Palamuru RangareddyLis Package-1 (Stage-1) Lift irrigation scheme is situated in Telengana State. The project has eight machines, each of 85 cusec discharge capacity pumps with 145MW motor rating operating under rated net head of 106 m. The pump is capable of operating in wide range of head and discharge capacity variation. Design and development of pump suitable for this project was carried out by COE-HM Engineers.
The Pump Model Test has been successfully done at COE-HM from 23rd Nov. to 27rd Nov.’2020 in presence of representatives from I & CADD, TSGENCO & MEIL. The test proved the pump capability to meet the guaranteed efficiency, discharge and other guaranteed parameters.Shri K. Penta Reddy, Adviser to Govt. of TS & Shri Srinivas Reddy (I & CADD) congratulated BHEL and COE-HM in particular for completing the 1st milestone as per schedule and meeting guaranteed parameters. He further hoped that BHEL would also meet all its commitments in time. He specially thanked COE-HM for explaining the test in detail. He told that COE-HM is better or at par with International laboratories in term of quality and accuracy.
The function was attended by C. Ananda ED (HEP-Bhopal) and P.K.Mishra GM (Hydro), V.S.Rao, AGM (HOD-HME,HMX & HPE) with HODs of hydro group with staff of Hydro Laboratory and other senior officials of other hydro departments.
