The Mahatma Gandhi Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme is being executed in a better way in the State.Through various activities under sub-plans of MNREGA efforts have been at greater level to make available employment to the needy employment card holder labourers.Commissioner MNREGA Smita Bhardwaj informed that strict action is being taken from time to time against negligent employees.In the series, directives have been given to take necessary action against officers, employees and Panchayat representatives found guilty of negligence in Rajgarh and Ujjain districts.As many as 5 inspection teams have found grave financial irregularities in MNREGA construction works in lakhoni and Bardhgaon Gram Panchayats in Jeerapur Janpad and Talawali and Dhakora Panchayats in Biaora Janpad of Rajgarh district. Jeerapur Janpad Panchayat CEO BS Hans, Biaora Janpad Panchayat CEO MP Singh and Assistant Engineer of Jeerapur Janpad PS Raghvanshi were suspended with immediate effects.
Contractual appointments of sub-engineer of Jeerapur Janpad Umesh Sharma and Rajkumar Khinchi, sub-engineer of Biaora Janpad Ramniwas Dhakad and Meenu Tyagi, Assistant Accounts Officer of Jeerapur Janpad Divya Shrivastava, Accountant Rachna Acharya have been cancelled and Panchayat Secretaries of lakhoni, Badhgaon and Dhakora Panchayats have been suspended.Action of recovery has been ordered against the then Assistant Accounts Officer of Biaora Janpad Mukesh Verma, enquiry against existing Senior Data Manager of Rajgarh Zila Panchayat Jitendra Singh and Employment Assistant of Talawali Gram Panchayat Bane Singh Malviya and necessary action against sarpanchs of lakhoni, Badhgaon, Talawali and Dhakora Gram Panchayats.Similarly, directives have been given to withhold increments of 6 Gram Panchayat Secretaries for negligence in MNREGA works in Ujjain district.
Two increments each of Suklana Gram Panchayat Secretary Bharat Singh, Jhalariya Gram Panchayat Secretary Rais Khan under Badnagar Janpad Panchayat and Khachrod Janpad Panchayat's Nandiyasi Gram Panchayat Secretary Bharat Singh have been withheld.One increment each of Bolasa Gram Panchayat Secretary Bachchu lal Pawar under Ujjain Janpad Panchayat, Joldiya Gram Panchayat Secretary Santosh Gurjar and Ramgarh Gram Panchayat Secretary Sunil Patel under Khachrod Janpad Panchayat have been withheld with immediate effect.
