Scooter borne miscreants vandalized over half a dozen parked vehicles at Sinchai Colony including vehicle of PA of Home Minister late in the night, miscreants came asking address of a person and later escaped after damaging vehicles.
The miscreants were spotted in CCTV grab found during the investigation which was found by the police and based on the footage identity of the miscreants would be established.
The local residents were shocked to find their vehicles damaged, wind shields were broken damaging them badly.
Over half a dozen vehicles were damaged, PA to Home Minister Virendra Pandey parked his vehicle near house and along with his vehicle 5-6 other vehicles were also parked which were damaged.
The vehicles were parked in the night and were found damaged in the morning.A complaint was lodged by victims regarding damage of vehicles.
The reason behind the damage could not be ascertained at the moment and would be investigated.
Police said that the damage to the vehicles would be over Rs 1 lakh as provided by the victims. In the incident scooter borne miscreants could be spotted but other details are not clear and are under investigation.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under sections 427, 294 and 34 of the IPC and started further investigation.
