Miscreants decamped with valuables and Rs 1 lakh from New MlA quarters under TT Nagar police station area on Thursday.
According to the police on Friday when the victim Harish lal (53) checked the valuables he found that Rs 1 lakh cash and gold ornaments were missing. The investigating officer SI JP Dangi told that the victim Harish lal has claimed that Rs 1 lakh cash and a gold pendant weighing 3 gm were found missing on Friday morning after which they tried to contact their domestic help Pradeep Yadav but were not able to contact after which police were informed.
Harish is a business and told that Yadav was working for the past 5-6 months. Victim was not able to confirm the date and timing of theft as the family only came to know about the theft on Friday when the valuables were checked. The victim Harish suspected that his domestic help Pradeep Yadav might be behind the theft.
A complaint was lodged with the police by the victim and after preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 379 of the IPC and have started further investigation. Yadav is a resident of Barkhedi and works as a domestic help for the accused. Police are going to question the security guards of the locality and neighbours of the victim. The police have launched a manhunt to nab the suspect who is still absconding.
