Miscreants targeted under construction Oxygen plant at Government Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital at Chunbhatti area on Monday and escaped with material.
Police said that the complainant Dr. SK Mishra found that material at the Oxygen plant was stolen and lodged complaint with police.
The victim in his complaint stated that a private firm was establishing Oxygen plant at the hospital and on May 20, material made of steel was stolen from the site. The staff and company members tried to search for the material but failed to find it and later complaint was lodged with police.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case of theft and have started further investigation. The value of the material was not clear and would be revealed in the further investigation said police.
Meanwhile, car tyres were stolen from Lala Lajpat Rai colony under Ashoka police station area in the morning hours on Monday.
Police said the victim Deepak Sethi found that car tyres were stolen from room. In his complaint, the victim stated that he lives at Lala Lajpat Rai colony and found that car tyres were found burgled.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 379 of IPC against unidentified miscreant.
Police suspect that the miscreants were aware of the routine of the victims which helped them to steal valuables in little time.
