Miscreants decamped with valuables worth `1 lakh from Mayur Vihar colony on sunday; Ashoka Garden police has started investigation.
Police said that the victim, Salman Khan, had gone to bring his wife from her parents house in Aishbagh in the evening and when he returned on Thursday house was found ransacked.
A complaint was lodged by the victim with the Ashoka Garden police and in his complaint, he stated that he had gone to bring his wife from Naveen Nagar at Aishbagh in the night at around 9 and when he returned after around one hour he found that house was targeted by miscreants who escaped with valuables.
Victim found that jewelry worth Rs 1 lakh 57,000 were burgled. The miscreants burgled two gold necklaces, two gold chains and cash claimed the victim.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under sections 457 and 380 of the IPC and have started investigation.
