Miscreants targeted a house at BDA Quarters Godarmau and escaped with valuables worth Rs 50,000 on Saturday; Gandhi Nagar police have started investigation.
Police said that the victim Shahnawaz Ali along with his family to attend an event and when he returned valuables were found missing and a complaint was lodged by the victim with the police.
In the complaint victim stated that they left house to attend an event on August 18 and when returned in the evening on Saturday valuables were found burgled.
The victim claimed that electronic goods gold and silver jewelry were burgled. The victim has claimed that the total loss in the burglary is around Rs 50000.Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case of burglary against unidentified miscreants and have started further investigation.In the burglary the almirah which was having the valuables was targeted and the other valuables were not disturbed. The lock of the almirah was found broken and the cash and gold jewelry were found burgled.
