Two unidentified miscreants on Tuesday night tried to abduct two women sleeping outside their house near Tighra Road. The neighbours, after hearing their cries, tried to catch the miscreants, but they fled. The police reportedly did not listen to their complaint and the women with their family members, therefore, approached the SP, Gwalior.
According to information, Mahendra and Mukesh living near Gupteshwar temple had gone to the grain mandi to sell their produce. As their wives were sleeping alone at night the miscreants attempted to kidnap them.
A police patrolling party reached there and assured them of action in the morning. But in the morning also the police did not do anything and the women along with their family members approached the SP Gwalior. He has ordered to register a case and assured the victims of arrest of the accused.
