The Teelajamalpura police nabbed a 19-year-old miscreant and recovered country made pistol from his possession near Berasia bus stand on Thursday; accused was wanted in attempt to murder case of Kotwali police. Police team rushed to the spot after receiving information about miscreant carrying country made pistol illegally. The accused was later identified as Arbaz Shaikh.
In the initial investigation it was found that the accused was wanted in crimes registered by Kotwali and Jehangirabad police.
Accused was wanted in a case of attempt to murder by Kotwali police and remained absconding in the case. The accused was booked for assault and threatening of life by Jehangirabad police.
After the accused was nabbed and country made pistol was recovered from his possession and Teelajamalpura police have registered a case under sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act.
