Based on suspicion, police have detained miscreants involved in firing at three youths near Bansal hospital under Chunabhatti police station area night on Wednesday.
Police have intensified the search for the miscreants who opened fire at 24-year-old Amit Singh. The incident took place late night on Wednesday when Amit along with his friends Anoop and Naveen were on their way home they were shot by unidentified miscreants in which Amit sustained bullet injury in his waist.
Condition of the victim is reportedly critical and is under observation claimed the doctors. The victim is undergoing treatment at Narmada hospital. Amit Thakur who was on his way to home after celebrating his birthday was shot by unidentified miscreants. The victim holds criminal record and was released on bail few days ago. He has served jail term several times in the past for different crimes.
In the initial investigation it was found that Amit and Santosh Rathore have old enmity and Rathore is behind the attack. The search for the accused has been started said police. The police have registered a case under section 307 of the IPC and have started further investigation. Attack was fuelled with old enmity and those involved in the attack are searched. Police said that Anoop and Naveen have been questioned regarding the incident and based on the information investigation has been started.Till the filing of the report no arrest were made, but the police officials claimed that the miscreants would be nabbed soon.
