Gunga police have booked a miscreant who molested a minor girl in the morning on her way to school.The accused identified as Laxman obstructed the girl and molested her. The victim returned home and informed parents regarding the molestation.
The accused tried to lure her and when he failed he molested her and sexually assaulted her victim managed to escape and while she escaped accused threatened her not to report the incident to anyone.
The victim returned home and reported the incident to her mother and later a complaint was lodged with the Gunga police.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation police registered a case under section 354(A), 509,341 of the IPC and section 11 and 12 of the POCSO and later in the investigation search for the accused was intensified by the police.
The crime was committed by the accused in the morning while she was on her way to home and after the victim returned to home she was afraid of the accused and initially failed to provide the atrocity and later when she was consoled she reported the incident to her mother that accused molested her.
The parents of the victim took the victim to report the incident. Details of the accused are under investigation and his crime record would be checked.
It would be investigated that accused was involved in molestation and sexual assault in the past.
