The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has claimed that cultural and social harmony is the only aim of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for progress of the society and the people.
BJP’s State spokesperson Hidayattullah Shaikh in a statement here on Sunday said that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government has worked for the overall development.
Modi has even stated that everyone would get the opportunity of justice, security and harmony while no one would get ignored by the Government. The minorities of the country has been empowered in the last 32 months, minorities are moving swiftly towards the progress in the country.
The people of the minorities have been confident with the 15 points of PM Modi.
Shaikh further said that the 20 per cent seats of the Haj were reduced during the UPA Government while NDA Government has contacted the supreme committee of Saudi Arabia and got 20 percent seats of Haj increased.
The central government has accomplished the wish of the minorities by continuing the subsidy of Haj and by providing other facilities to the Haj pilgrims.
Minorities are puzzled due to the development of this Government as the last Governments did nothing but increased the feeling of fear among the people, he added.
Shaikh said that the previous Government had given no opportunity to the minorities to progress during its regime of five decades.
PM Modi has initiated various schemes for the upliftment of the people of the minorities. Schemes such as ‘nai manzil- nai roshni’, ‘sikho kamao’, ‘ustad scholarship’, ‘make in India’ and ‘skilled India’ have given a new dimension to the progress of the minorities.
The Government has initiated the Begum Hazrat Mahal scholarship programme for the girls of minorities. Similarly, Government has also initiated Gareeb Nawaz skill development programme for the educational empowerment of the youths of minorities.
