A youth living in a village in Sukhi Sewania police station area kidnapped a minor girl studying in class 8 by luring her, held the minor hostage in a room and raped her.
After the heinous act, the accused threatened the victim that if she tells anything to anyone, he would kill her.
The incident is a month old. When the youth again started pressuring the minor to have physical relations, the student told the whole thing to her family. She went to the police station with them and lodged a complaint against the youth based on which police have registered an FIR on Sunday night. On Monday, the police arrested the accused youth.
The police said that the 14-year-old girl lives in a village in Sukhi Sewania police station area and is a school student. She knew the youth identified as Rahul as they lived in the same village. Both of them used to talk to each other. Taking advantage of this, on January 25, the youth lured and took the minor with him.
The accused raped the minor after intimidating and threatening her. After raping the girl, the youth had threatened to kill her. Scared by the threat, the minor did not tell her family after reaching home. When the youth started harassing the girl again, she told the whole thing to her family on Sunday, after which she went to the police station and lodged a complaint.
