A 15-year-old girl was raped and gang-raped by different persons in a period of two years. A case of rape was reported in the Woman police station Bhopal on Saturday.
According to the Station House Officer Renu B Surab the victim used to live with her father and step mother. In the year 2011 the victim’s maternal aunt from Jalandhar came and requested victim’s father that she would take the victim to Jalandhar but she left her at Anandpur Sahib at Ashok Nagar and informed victim’s father that she has been admitted at a hostel in Jalandhar.
After one year, the priest at the Anandpur Sahib sent her to Jalandhar Kutiya. During herstay at kutiya, Sunny who used to supply religious books, harass her and made an obscene video of the victim. On the basis of the video, Sunny raped her several times during her stay. When the victim complaint to the priest she was sent back to Anantpur Sahib but Sunny used to visit her and shared the video with Raju of Anantpur Sahib who also assaulted her sexually. Gaurav along with Raju and Monu has gang-raped the victim at Anantpur Sahib.
When she was sent back by the priest the bus driver raped her and handed over her to Ashish Sinha who is Train Ticket Examiner. The bus driver told Ashish to accompany her to Bhopal but he took her to Sonipat where he held her captive and raped her for 4 days. The victim was then brought back to Bhopal and was handed over to her family. The five accused Sunny (23), Gaurav(22), Monu(30), Raju(27) and Ashish Sinha(25).
The police have registered a case under 376(G),3/4 and 5/6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012 and have started further investigation.
