A minor boy stabbed his father to death who used to harass his wife suspecting illicit relationship at Categorised market under Hanumanganj police station area on Thursday; accused attacked his father during a fight between his mother and father.
The deceased Irfan Qureshi (40) was attacked by his minor son after deceased had a fight with his wife.
Police said that the deceased used to work as bus conductor in bus which plies from Bhopal to Obedullahganj. The deceased missed his work for the past 3-4 days and was frequently quarrelling with his wife for the past one week and frustrated over the issue deceased’s eldest son Shanu took her mother to their relative but after she was taken deceased pressurised the family members to bring her back. In the night on Wednesday when deceased’s wife was accompanied back with Shanu deceased again started to fight and tried to attack but his minor son took a knife and attacked him in his chest several times which caused his death.
After the preliminary investigation and the post-mortem, the body was handed over to his wife. The police have registered a case under section 302 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
During the investigation police found that the accused suspected that his wife was having illicit relationship with her brother-in-law Javed. Police said that the deceased had fight with Javed around two years ago over the same issue.
