Energy Minister Rajendra Shukla has said that the State Government is committed to giving appointments on compassionate ground to family members of employees of power distribution companies, who dies during service. He directed to dispose of pending cases of compassionate appointments under Compassionate Appointment Policy-2013 against vacancies as per eligibility by May 31. The Minister said that cases of compassionate appointments in power distribution companies remaining after May will be reviewed again in June.
He also directed present proposals for disposal of cases of compassionate ground in Central, East and Western Region Power Distribution Companies, Power Generation and Power Transmission companies through consent of Board of Directors after May 31 to Energy Department. Principal Secretary ICP Kesari informed about provisions of Compensate Finance Assistance (CFA).
