Home and Jail Minister Babulal Gaur has directed officers to work with coordination. Much inconvenience is being caused to people by delay in repair of Hamidia Road.
He is getting regular complaints regarding it. During inspection, he found lack of coordination between various departments associated with this work due to which work is not gathering momentum. He said that he would inspect the work again after a month. Gaur was inspecting ongoing works on Hamidia Road here this evening.
Gaur also talked to people during inspection. He said that traffic arrangements have gone haywire since works to repair Hamidia Road and other roads leading to railway station, Shahjahanabad etc. Traffic police also informed him about their problems. It was also brought to his notice that use of road parallel to Hamidia Road via Alpana Talkies and Hanuman Ganj police station should also be ensured. For trial, mini buses and buses of BCAl should be plied on it. When the experiment is successful, it should be made one-way road.
Gaur directed to systemise Nadra bus stand square and arrange adequate lighting there. He instructed to construct drains properly along roads for pipelines and drainage. He said that leakages should be plugged due to which work of road construction is getting delayed. Apart from systemising Bhopal Talkies Square, Gaur also directed to undertake cleaning of mausoleum of Siddique Hasan Saheb and arrange lighting there. He also instructed to remove encroachments near railway station, systemise shops and construct stand for taxis, cars and two-wheelers.
