Minister directs for drinking water arrangements at SC, ST hostels

Food and Civil Supplies Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah has directed to install solar panels at SC and ST hostels for drinking water arrangements. He directed to undertake weekly reviews to remove difficulties in land allotment for public interest schemes in the district. Kunwar Shah was addressing a meeting of District Planning Committee at Barwani on Friday.

The Minister said that one godown should be constructed through 10 Gram Panchayats. For this, he directed to send proposals to Warehousing Corporation. The Minister reviewed progress of construction works costing over `50 lakh. He directed for regular monitoring of works.At a meeting of District Planning Committee at Khargone, Kunwar Shah directed to constitute seed societies in the district to increase seed production. He directed to purchase motor pumps to start one piped water scheme in every block. The Minister also reviewed progress of development works and construction works costing over `50 lakh.

He urged MlAs to chalk out proposals for self-employment schemes of tribal people keeping in view specific requirements of their respective constituencies. Selected beneficiaries will be provided assistance by Tribal Finance Development Corporation. He also reviewed PDS.MlAs Balkrishna Patidar, Hitendra Singh Solanki, Vijay Solanki, Rajkumar Mev and Jhuma Solanki were also present.
