Mild winters are approaching over many parts of Madhya Pradesh as during the last 24 hours, north westerly winds have blown over most parts of the state. Moreover, Monsoon has also withdrawn from northern parts of the state, leading to dry weather conditions with clear sky. Both day and night temperatures are plunging due to these dry winds. With clear sky, outgoing long wave radiation is high which is why minimum temperatures are dropping significantly. For instance, Betul recorded 14 degrees Celsius while Chhindwara 15 degrees Celsius. likewise, many districts in the state have recorded minimums ranging between 14 – 17 degrees Celsius.
