Suffering from mental illness a youth committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at mental health ward at AIIMS Bhopal under Baghsewania police station area on Thursday.
Police said that the deceased, Deepak Jaiswal of Sehore was found hanging and was when checked he was found dead. In the initial investigation, police found that the deceased committed suicide during his treatment for the past 15 days.
During the investigation, police have not found any suicide note and it was found that the deceased was suffering from mental illness for long. Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC.
The deceased was suffering from mental illness for past 8 years and was lone patient at the mental health ward. The bed sheet at the ward was used by deceased to make noose.
