BJP State organisational general secretary Arvind menon while addressing a meeting of the party workers here on Sunday said, “The Congress used to make a mockery of ‘Achche Din’  talks but the signals of the ‘Achche Din’ are coming from all nooks and corners and the people are feeling relieved. The Congress has itself become a thing of joke.”

Menon said that the economy of the country has come out of the negative zone and has entered into growth zone and called on the party workers to make commoners aware with the relief they are getting in the changed circumstances.

He said that the people should elect developing and farsighted candidates in the civic elections who could ensure development by utilizing the funds from the centre and state Governments.

Menon said, what could be more pleasant that the retail price index has come down to 5.50 per cent that was earlier 6.40 per cent. When country’s economy was in negative zone the international investors ran away from the country, while the investors of the country were also looking towards other countries. But soon after the BJP came to power and the Narendra Modi led Government took over the foreign investors started coming to India, he added.

He said that the big powers of the world are seeking chance to be part of the India’s development. The good thing is that the Non Resident Indians seeing the positive scenario in the country are returning to the country. The brain drain caused during the erstwhile Congress rule has now turned into brain-gain. The party workers should make people aware with this positive change in the country, he added.
