Sant Siddh Bhau has said that the Optometrists working at vision centers should work with their full potential and ability to serve the ailing eye patients and the people with refraction-error in their eyes.
Optometrists should undertake publicity campaign at their respective areas, so as the local people know about the activities of vision centers. Sant Siddh Bhau also stressed the need to increase man to man contact with the help of local Anganwadi and Asha activists. Siddh Bhau was reviewing the activities and progress of 39 vision centers run by the Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital here today. On this occasion senior consultant colnel Dr Madan Deshpandey, Managing Trustee LC Janiyani, Trustees Mahesh Dayaramani, Tulsi Advani and Hero Keswani, Senior manager Bharti Janiyani were also present.
Sant siddh bhau further Said that the optometrist should make atomosphere of eye care in their respective areas. He told that it is the Law of nature that the service rendered for others, bring peace and happiness in the life.
Optometrists have got an opportunity of service and by this way, they should get benefits from it. Siddh Bhau inquired about the daily OPD and local population of the area.
Colnel Dr Madan Deshpandey said that diabetes diagnosis equipments are available at all centers.
Optometrists should examine the diabetes level of people. By this way they would be in regular touch of local patients which will help them to increase the OPD Of vision center also. Colnel Deshpandey said it is more important that how many people of 50 plus age group came for their eye examination rather than the higher number of normal OPD.
Mahesh Dayaramani said that the financial and Human coordination between service organization helps rapid progress in their respective fields. He said that the Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital was set up to render eye care service to poor and needy people of the society. This hospital has performed eye surgeries of Over three lakh patients and thus achived its objectives in past 35 years. Dayaramani said that the optometrists are the Brand Ambassadors of SSEH. They should serve in the comprehensive intrest of the people .
Managing Trustee L.C. Janiyani said that the good suggestions of optometrists will be applied in the vision centers. They should submit their demand note of publicity material. Shri Janiyani also directed them for hard work to increase OPD.
