Under the joint auspices of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication (MCNUJC) and Punaruthan Vidyapeeth, Ahmedabad, a two-day seminar was organised at Bhopal on the topic ‘Bharatiya Shodh Drishti’ (Indian Research Vision).

The seminar was inaugurated by the vice-chancellor of Punaruthan Vidyapeeth Indumati Katdare Tai. On this occasion, the MP Energy and Public Relations Minister Rajendra Shukla, vice-chancellor of MCNUJC Brij Kishore Kuthiala and Mukul Kanitkar were present.

Katdare said that nobody in the nation seems to be responsible for the level of education. Authorities blame professors and in return, professors blame the authorities, she added, saying that the knowledge should come from all directions and places, only then it becomes great.

She said that Indian vision has always been global. In India there is spiritual globalization, whereas elsewhere it is materialism.

Rajendra Shukla in his addressing speech said that through political will, knowledge can be spread faster like Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spread Yoga through the United Nations and declared a day as Yoga Day.

On this occasion, Kuthiala said that it is an established fact that the birth of Indian culture took place around 5000 years back, whereas in the other parts of the world, the mankind was at its infancy. He said that internet was similar to ‘Indrajal’ in Vedas. He also said that by referring to ‘granthas’ one can improve the quality of research.

In the first session, lucknow University professor Rakesh Mishra spoke on ‘Bharatiya Vichar Kshetra me Aatma Vismriti avam Shodh Kshetra’ (Self obliteration in Indian thoughts and Research area).

At the beginning of the seminar, Rector of the University lajpat Ahuja gave information regarding the working of the university and about the seminar. Registrar Sachidanand Joshi thanked all the guests for their valuable presence.
