Mayor Alok Sharma held a meeting with Transport businessmen here on Thursday, and listened to their issues. He promised them to avail all the facilities at Rani Avanti Bai Transport Nagar and turn it into a Smart Transport Nagar. Sharma also asked them to shift all the transporters to the Transport Nagar.
In the meeting besides Mayor Sharma, Member of Mayor in Council (MIC) Mahesh Makhvana, Keval Mishra, Dinesh Yadav, Manjushree Barkiya, Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Verma and capitals Transport Businessmen were present.
Sharma on Thursday held a meeting to develop the Rani Avanti Bai Transport Nagar, to shift all the transporters to Rani Avanti Bai Transport Nagar and solve all the problems of the Transporters. In the meeting the issues of the transport businessmen were discussed.
During the discussion the businessmen informed about the issues of road, drainage, electricity, water crisis and traffic police. Mayor said that to reduce the flow of heavy vehicle inside the city and to make their movement convenient the Rani Avanti Bai Transport Nagar is being developed.
The basic amenities of the Transport Nagar will be improved and turned into a Smart Transport Nagar. For solving the issues further, Mayor will inspect the Transport Nagar on Friday 8 am. To solve all the issues of the transport businessmen a meeting with the traffic police will also be held.
Sharma said, “We are committed to provide better facility to the transport businessmen.” Sharma further said that in the D-sector of the Transport Nagar shops will be constructed. The wrongly allotted plot will also be cancelled and new plot will be allotted, he added.
