Higher Education Minister Umashankar Gupta and Mayor Alok Sharma inspected ward number 25 at 7 am here on Monday and heard people’s problems. People complained about water supply with low pressure and sanitation. later, they also visited Banganga slums, Prem Nagar, north TT Nagar, 12 offices’ sheds, New MlA Quarters, Jawahar Chowk, Police radio colony and other localities falling under wards number 25.
Gupta and Sharma directed officers to solve the problems soon. They directed to officers to inspect the respective areas in the morning, hear and solve people’s problems. local legislator Shankar Makoriya, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Tejaswi S Nayak and other officers were present on the occasion.
At places, the Mayor solved the sanitation related problems then and there by directing the sanitation department officials. It has been decided that Mayor Alok Sharma would inspect the wards everyday along with local legislators. In the series, on Tuesday, he along with Gupta would inspect ward number 33.
