Indore Mayor Malini laxman Singh Gaud along with Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) Commissioner Manish Singh reviewed the developmental works of ward 3 and 4 on Thursday at Mayor Secretariat.
During the meeting, Mayor reviewed the developmental works and infrastructure related works of ward 3 and 4. While reviewing the works, Mayor found out that the contractors and agencies even after the tender process do not take interest in agreement and starting of work after agreement.
Mayor was also informed that event the contract is given to the agencies the work does not start within specified time and which leads to delay. If the work is started, the pace of the work remains slow and the work is not completed on time.
It was also informed that while the work is done, a lack of expected quality is also seen. With such situation the developmental works are affected badly.
While reviewing all the works, Mayor took a strict action against all the contractors. In the review meeting corporators of the respective wards including Deepika Nachan, Nand Devi Gawde, Zulekha Qadri, Vinitika Yadav, Bhagwanti Redwal, santosh Gaur, Chanda Vajpayi and Parvati Kushwaha and officials of different departments were also present.
