The Maternity OT Complex with Modular OT and state-of-the-art facilities located adjacent to the Labour-Delivery-Recovery (LDR) Complex was inaugurated on Wednesday by the Executive Director &CEO Prof (Dr.) Ajai Singh in presence of Dean (Academics) Prof.(Dr.) Rajesh Malik, Deputy Director (Admin) Col Ajit Singh, Medical Superintendent Prof. (Dr.) Manisha Shrivastava.
The new Maternity OT Complex which is in close proximity to the Labour room and Neonatal ICU will help to provide quality and accessible maternal and neonatal care, and ensure better obstetric outcome.
This has been made possible under the able leadership, encouragement and constant guidance of the Executive Director Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, the Executive Director expressed his happiness and satisfaction at initiation of the much-needed facility for improving patient care and outcome in the institute.
He praised the team efforts of Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology led by Head of Department Dr. K. Pushpalatha, and Department of Anaesthesia led by Head of Department Dr. Vaishali Waindeskar for their constant efforts towards starting the facility.
