Cyber Crime Branch of Bhopal police arrested absconding mastermind involved in operating flesh trade through a website; racket was busted on May 19 in which nine persons were held.
The master mind Subhash alias Veer Dwivedi was nabbed from a hotel in the city after receiving information of the hide out of accused.
The accused remained absconding for the past two months after he traced in a hotel under Mangalwara police station area.
Accused confessed that he came to the city in the year 2012 in search of job and worked with different hotels in the city and used to provide staying facilities for couples and later he started to operate the call girl nexus. He met Suresh Mewada and Devendra alias David around a year ago who joined the accused and starting working. Suresh and Devendra were nabbed earlier.
During the investigation police have announced a reward of Rs 5,000 for any providing information of the accused. The absconding accused had created a website with the help of a Delhi-based firm which used to contact customers.
Women from Meghalya and Maharashtra who were trapped by alluring them of jobs were rescued in the raid conducted at a house in E-7 area of Arera Colony where it was found that the accused were operating the trade through a website in the month of June.
In the nexus the gang members used to collect resumes from the websites involvement in placements was collected and the victims were then lured of jobs in the city and later they were forced into prostitution.
The rescued girls confessed that they were lured of jobs and were introduced to the accused involved in operating in the racket as company officials and interview was conducted and later the girls were forced into prostitution after trapping them.
