A massive turnout of devotees was witnessed on all the ghats of the River of Salvation Kshipra during second Parv Snan in Simhastha Mela area, Ujjain on Friday. Devotees had the holy dip as per their satisfaction on several new ghats. After the holy dip, a youth Radheshyam was so overwhelmed by devotional bliss that he said that he would ask all in his village to visit Simhastha.
Devotees from all over India are lavishing praise on arrangements for devotees at Ujjain during Simhastha. Radheshyam was accompanied by 20 persons from this village including women and small children. Radheshyam said that when they were coming by train to Ujjain, they came to know that there was chaos in Simhastha Mela due to cyclonic storm and rains. He said that we got worried specially for women and children accompanying them. But, they continued their journey for the sake of devotion to Mahakal.
Radheshyam said that his apprehensions turned out to be baseless on arriving at Ujjain. All of us reached Ramghat easily and had the holy dip in Kshipra. He and his companions were wholeheartedly praising Mela administration for excellent arrangements.
Jashoda, 85, from Hat Pipaliya, Dewas had come with her relatives for the holy dip. She said that she had attended last 2 Simhasthas. He found the road upto Ramghat very smooth.
Elders said that they have experienced such pleasant arrangements in Mahakumbh for the first time. These devotees did not halt or felt tired during 118 km long their journey of Panchkroshi Yatra till they had the holy dip after completing the Yatra. Congregation of large number of devotees on Ramghat on Amavasya presented a unique look of Indian culture, civilization, unity in diversity, human welfare and supremacy of Dharma.
