A Massive fire broke out near Hayat hospital after tyres at a scrap godown at Old Categorised caught fire in the early morning hours on Sunday.
Fewer people were present near the spot due to Sunday and fire erupted in dumped tyres which were isolated which lead to lesser loss to owner who remained identified till late in the evening.
The fire which broke out at around 9 in the morning was pacified by more than half a dozen fire tender vehicles in more than half an hour.
On duty employee of fire brigade claimed that the fire was massive and was controlled before it would spread to other godowns and nearby houses. The timely pacifying of fire helped in saving adjacent godowns and shops at the spot which might have sustained massive loss.
At the time of the incident Hanumanganj police were informed regarding the details of the incident and the owner of the tyres has not reported the incident to the police.
More than half a dozen fire tenders were pressed into service soon after the information of fire was received of fire at Old Categorised and reached to contain and control the fire.
The fire tenders have not provided any reason behind the fire. The fire could be short circuit borne or due to some other reason which would be investigated.
During the investigation it was found that some mischievous person had lit the fire.
