A 30-year-old married woman was sexually assaulted on February 17 by her ex-employer at Sabri Nagar under Kamla Nagar police station area; a case of rape was registered after victim lodged complaint.
According to the police, the victim lodged a complaint on Monday regarding sexual assault by her former employer Shambu Singh Sikarwar.
In her complaint victim has stated that the accused came to her rented room on February 17 on the pretext of providing job and sexually assaulted her and later threatened her of life. The accused sexually assaulted her thrice by threatening her in the next few days. The victim approached police and lodged complaint.
The victim used to work with the accused in his hotel as receptionist and left the job few months ago. The victim is a resident of Jabalpur and after separation from her husband she came to Bhopal in search of job and had worked at hotel owned by accused.
The police have registered a case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC and have started further investigation into the matter.
Meanwhile, a 22-year-old girl was captivated and sexually assaulted in the name of marrying her at Nishaptura; a complaint was lodged by victim on Tuesday.
